Michael Marrak

Michael Marrak's novel Imagon tells the story of a an arctic expedition and can be described as a modern Lovecraft version of Who Goes There? It won the Kurd-Lasswitz-Award (the German professional award, can be compared to the Nebula) for the best novel of the year 2002. For the paperback edition I was asked to add some interior illustrations and they got me the Kurd-Lasswitz-Award 2005 for the best graphic of the year.
